Our 2008 blend of Zinfandel and Syrah captures the "Big Red" title, and leads the pack for big bold red table wine. With well-balanced front and mid palate, an integrated tannic structure, and long and satisfying finish, this wine is truly exceptional. Cabernet Franc, being the parent grape centuries ago, from which Cabernet Sauvignon was developed, shares some of the characteristics with its offspring. This Cab Franc has a definite ripe dark cherry and black raspberry base with a well based and softer tannic structure. Goes well with hearty fare, and loves a dark raw chocolate. $18
